TABUK CITY, Kalinga – The Schools Division Office (SDO) of Tabuk City held a strategic coaches’ meeting to discuss preparations for the upcoming Cordillera Administrative Region Athletics Association (CARAA) Meet 2025.
The focus of the meeting was on fostering a growth mindset among all participants—coaches, athletes, and stakeholders—to ensure a successful campaign.
Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) Benedicta Gamatero discussed their plans emphasizing the importance of collaboration in nurturing the potential of each athlete.
She urged everyone involved to embrace a mind-set that values progress and learning, regardless of the outcome.
“Even if we don’t achieve gold, we can still learn and grow from the experience,” she said.
The meeting also laid the foundation for the training strategies that will guide athletes’ preparation in the months leading up to CARAA 2025.
Coaches were encouraged to integrate this growth mind-set into their training methods, ensuring that athletes not only develop their physical skills but also their resilience and determination.
In a move that highlights Tabuk City’s unique spirit, it was announced that the city’s CARAA delegation will be proudly known as the “TABUK CITY COFFEE ROASTERS.”
The moniker symbolizes the city’s strength, passion, and resilience, much like the city’s famed coffee.
Along with this announcement, updates were provided on the design of new uniforms, timelines for the submission of athletes’ documents, athlete training schedules, and plans for upcoming tune-up games.
Gamatero also shared the ambitious goal for Tabuk City’s delegation: to compete for a top-four finish in CARAA 2025.
With a clear vision, collaborative efforts, and a focus on growth, the city is poised for a successful and enriching experience at the regional athletic competition.
