LAMUT, Ifugao November 08 – A 26-year old security guard was hurt after he was shot by a still unidentified gunman inside the criminology building of the State-run Ifugao State University (IFSU), at Nayon, here, Monday night.
Police authorities identified the victim as Albert Tuguinay Alindayo, 26, and a resident of Lower Hucab, Kiangan, Ifugao.
Initial police investigation showed the victim just reported for duty when he was allegedly shot by a still unidentified assailants that prompted his colleagues to rush him to a local hospital for medical treatment before being transferred to another hospital in the province.
One of the security guards of the school who was relieved by the victim was invited by probers for questioning and that he was able to surrender several firearms to the local police force.
