The Saint Louis University’s Run For Hope is set to return this November 27, 2016 for its seventh edition.
This year’s run, themed “Building a Home for Hope”, offers five distances: 3K, 5K, 10K, 21K, and 42K. The proceeds for this event will benefit SLU Halfway Home for Boys, RSCC-Wangal and Medical mission for Children.
The participants to this event will be given race kits that includes a race bib, route map, dri-fit shirt, and RFID tag.
The prizes awaiting winners are medals for the top three finishers of each category, Finishers’ shirt and medals for 21K and 42K runners, and trophies for the top three finishers of the 42K distance. Other surprise freebies are also slated to be given away.
Registration for this event started last October 10, 2016 at the SLU main campus, Maryheights Campus, Navy Base Campus, SM Baguio and Laperal Building. It is expected to end on November 19, 2016.
Rev. Fr. Gerald Costa of the SLU Halfway Home for Boys is the Head Race Officer while SLU-SABM’s Marketing Mixers and Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants are the lead organizations for event promotion and registration.
