The SM Foundation Inc. will start accepting online applications for their full college scholarships. Submission of application is open from October 15 to December 31, 2019 on their website: www.sm-foundation.org/programs/education.
The college scholarship includes the choices of specializations in accounting, information technology, engineering, and education. The scholars will receive a monthly allowance, part-time job opportunities during semestral and Christmas breaks, exclusive job offers with the SM Group upon graduation, and other fun-filled activities and enrichment programs.
To be qualified, applicants must be a graduate of a public school in selected areas.
Interested applicants who graduated from private schools with a DepEd voucher in selected locations must have graduated junior high school from a public school. Applicants should also have a general weighted average grade of at least 88% or its equivalent for Grade 12 – 1st semester. The total household income should be at most P150,000 per year.
Applicants should have the following attachments: Parent’s or Guardian’s 2018 Tax Return/ Certification of Non-Filing of Income/ Certificate of Indigency, latest Grade 12 report card, birth certificate, 2×2 ID picture, and a sketch of the direction of the applicant’s home to the nearest SM mall.
Only online applications will be accepted, strictly no walk-ins are allowed. Candidates must also confirm application within the seven days of submission by logging in to the SM Scholarship Online System.
Baguio schools that are recognized for the SM Foundation College Scholarship program are Saint Louis University, University of the Philippines – Baguio, and University of the Cordilleras.
