BONTOC, Mountain Province – The 11th Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of Mountain Province chaired by Vice Governor Francis O. Tauli approved the supplement budget of Tadian and Paracelis and the Application for Accreditation of the “Gawis Women’s League Incorporated” in Butigue, Paracelis during its regular session held at the Legislative Building Session Hall on September 24, 2024.
The reporting of the approved supplemental budget and the application for accreditation were made by Board Members Henry D. Bastian, Jr., the Committee Chair on Budget and Appropriation, and Angel Moises T. Tamang, the Committee Chair on Cooperatives.
In addition, the SP adopted the approved resolution no. 2024-059, otherwise known as “Enhanced Camp Management Plan CY 2024” of the Provincial Risk Reduction of Management Council and approved the technical review of the Local Finance Committee on Supplemental Budget No. 3 of Natonin and two municipal ordinances of Paracelis, Mountain Province
Furthermore, the Resolution No. 2024-100 of Sabangan was reconsidered by the body and suggested to add more adaptable organic agriculture well-being for the benefit of the community.
Meanwhile, in the new business of the session, the SP body concurred and appointed Atty. Michael A. Patting as the new Provincial Government Department Head of the Office of the Provincial Cooperatives Development Officer as submitted by the Provincial Human Resources Management Office.
In his message, Patting expressed his commitment as the new Provincial Cooperatives Development Officer for the further development of the cooperatives in Mountain Province.
“Rest assured the commitment of the provincial cooperatives in a working corporation in this body (the Sangguniang Panlalawigan) for the betterment and implementation of projects, programs, activities of the cooperatives and as a mandate is to promote cooperativism and to foster the development of all cooperatives in Mountain Province,” he said.
