City officials recently approved the request of Angelina Cesar for the issuance of a special business permit as a fruit vendor to trade or sell within the designated vending area along Gov. Pack road.
Under Resolution No. 496, series of 2024, The Committee on Market, Trade, Commerce and Agriculture, in its 5th indorsement dated July 1, 2024, recommended approval of the said request stating that the matter was first brought to the City Permits and Licensing Division to which it does not interpose any objection as long as the product to be sold by the proponent shall be specific.
Further, considering that the proponent requested a business permit as a fruit vendor only, the special permit shall be in lieu of the said request.
Earlier, the local legislative body considered the letter dated May 27, 2024 of Punong Barangay Zenaida C. Monteclaro of Session road-Gov. Pack road endorsing and granting permission to Cesar to engage in the selling of fruits within the jurisdiction of the barangay.
In a certification dated May 27, 2024, Monteclaro certified that Cesar is a resident of Session-Gov. Pack road barangay and authorized and permitted her to sell fruits only within the designated vending area along the said road.
Copies of the approved resolution will be transmitted to Cesar and the Session-Gov. Pack road barangay for information, guidance, ready reference and further needed action. By Dexter A. See
