BAGUIO CITY – A 26-year old student was hurt after he was repeatedly shot by a lone assailant inside a billiards hall along Calderon Street here recently.
Senior Superintendent Rolando F. Miranda, officer-in-charge of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the victim as Aaron Clark Chadsa-ag Longayan, 26, single, student, native of Bontoc, Mt. Province while he named the suspect to be a certain Erwin Bilog.
Initial police investigation showed the victim entered the billiards hall and jokingly accosted the suspect who was then playing billiards. Irked about what happened, the suspect suddenly pulled out a handgun that was tacked on his waist and shot the victim once on his back.
When the victim fell on the floor, the suspect against shot the victim once on his head before fleeing the billiards hall prior to the arrival of responding police operatives.
Responding police operatives rushed the victim to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment of his gunshot wounds on the head and nape.
The suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation for his to answer for the charges to be filed against him before the city prosecutor’s office.
