BAGUIO CITY – A 22-year old student was hurt after he was manhandled by still undetermined number of suspects when he and his companions alighted from a taxi along Leonard Wood road here recently.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, acting city director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the victim as Ronal Ramos Villaruz, 22, single, student, and resident of no. 301 Hillside barangay, Baguio City, while some of the suspects were named as David Ferrer, Juris Montesa, Adrian Montesa and Dominick Madayag.
Initial police investigation showed the victim, together with his companions, alighted from a taxi in the place of incident when the suspects, who were on the opposite side of the road, suddenly approached them and manhandled the victim.
The suspects were subsequently pacified by the victim’s companions who also rushed him to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment.
The suspects are now the subject of a manhunt operation by responding police operatives for them to answer for the crime they committed.
