NATONIN, Mountain Province – The regional director of the Cordillera Center of Health Development of the Department of Health (DOH-CHD-CAR) Dr. Rio L. Magpantay and Natonin Mayor Jose T. Agagon led the groundbreaking ceremony and signing of the memorandum of agreement for the Natonin Super Health Center.
The construction will start in June 2023 and is expected to be finished by the end of year.
The Super Health Center will cater to the residents of Natonin and the nearby areas. It is expected to provide comprehensive services which are required in a primary care facility and will be equipped to provide medical consultation, clinical laboratory services, diagnostic services such as X-ray and ECG and dental services; it will also include a pharmacy and birthing facility.
Meanwhile, a license to operate was also awarded to Sta. Isabel Barangay Health Station and Birthing Center. The facility will provide basic maternal and child care to the constituents.
Magpantay delivered his message motivating the participants with emphasis on 4PS:
“PAGLALAKBAY- Napakahalaga ang paglalakbay dahil nakilala at nakita ang adhikain to improve the health of beloved Natonin at nalalaman ang mahalagang bagay sa bayan ng Natonin;
PAGSASAKRIPISYO- Pag-isahin ang lahat ng sakripisyo sa lahat ng programang pangkalusugan.
PAPURI – Lahat ng sakripisyo ay bigyan ng papuri, ensure that every person is motivated;
PASASALAMAT- Pasasalamat na nailalahad ang mga problema, kung ano ang kaya bigyan ng solusyon.”
For this year, the Cordillera is allotted the amount of P235.9 million for 235 projects under the Health Facility Enhancement Program. Of the allotted funds, P184. 9 million will go to health infrastructure and P51M for equipping of health facilities. These infrastructures will ensure DOH-CHD-CAR goal: “Saan mang sulok, kalusugan ay maabot.” By DOH-CAR
