BAGUIO CITY – The local government and the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) will be conducting a Symposium on Public transport Policies for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) dubbed ‘Making Public Transport Safer and More Accessible to PWDs’ on Monday, June 23, 2025 at the function hall of the City Health Services Office.
The Symposium will also focus on the discussion of ‘Integrating PWD-friendly Designs and transit-Oriented Development Projects.’
Speakers during the symposium are CIAC president and chief executive officer Jojit Alcazar, who will be providing a message during the said occasion; Arch. Alexis Gabriel O. Doroteo of the Department of transportation’s road transport and Infrastructure Sector, who will be discussing the topic on ‘Making Public transport More Safe and Accessible to PWDs,
CIAC Investment Promotions Officer Jen Bugarin-Tan, who will be talking about the updates on flights and destinations of the Clark International Airport and Persons with Disability Affairs Officer (PDAO) head Dr. Samuel G. Aquino.
The symposium will be attended by various sectors in the city, including the PWDs who are mostly affected by the absence of PWD-friendly public transport system not only in the city but also in the country. By Dexter A. See
