TABUK CITY, Kalinga – The City Social Work and Development Office (CSWDO) conducted a comprehensive two-day training aimed at bolstering the knowledge and skills of community volunteers from various barangays within the city on June 13 to 14.
Shanelle Paot from CSWDO said community volunteers play a crucial role as essential helpers and advocates for social services within their respective barangays.
On the first day of the training, Donald Siki from Cordillera office of the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples delivered a lecture focusing on leadership and interpersonal communication skills. During the second day, Siki further delved into the concept of intentional servant leadership, advocating for the creation of a supportive work environment built on trust and mutual understanding among team members. He also underscored the significance of fostering team happiness and engagement through dynamic activities to sustain motivation.
