TABUK CITY, Kalinga – The Schools Division of Tabuk City has started accepting enrollees for school year 2020-2021 through the online platform.

During the launching of the online enrolment facility, Schools Division Superintendent Irene Angway said that enrolment for kindergarten, Grades 1-6, Grades 7-10 (Junior High School) and Grades 11-12 (Senior High School) can be done online using a phone with internet connection.
Students and parents, she said can access the link provided to facilitate the enrollment process.
For students residing areas where the online platform is not available, they can opt for the offline or phone-in enrollment which will be available starting third week of June.
Angway explained that using the offline or phone-in enrollment, students could utilize their phones and call their teacher to provide the details of enrollment.
Printed enrollment forms being part of the offline platform, she mentioned will be also distributed to the barangays and can be accessed by the parents and students. These forms, once filed out will be placed at the drop box available at the barangay hall and be collected by designated enrollment focal persons before be encoded in the database system.
Angway also reminded that public schools are still to be guided by the “’ No Collection Policy’’ since education is free unlike the private schools where an enrollment fee is required that they are given full authority to use any platform for collection or method of enrollment.
The Division expects a 30 percent to 50 percent enrollment rate for the first week of June. The deadline for enrollment is set on June 30.
