TABUK CITY, Kalinga – Tabukeños and other automobile enthusiasts from outside the province gathered at the Tabuk People’s Gym to show off their rides and provide automotive entertainment to their audiences during the North Automoto Show, organized by Element Tricks Production (LMNTRX).
LMNTRX is a Quezon City-based car show production that has been in the run for ten years. Said CEO Tee Jay Flake II, it is their first time to exhibit such an event in the city. “As soon as we wrapped up the event in Nueva Vizcaya and before advancing to Visayas and Mindanao, we traveled here in Tabuk to provide a platform for Tabukeño enthusiasts to take pride in their custom collections.”
In addition to the crowd that nearly filled the gymnasium, the event gained momentum, thanks to the more than 50 modified cars, trikes, and motorbikes that simultaneously revved their engines up.
Among the displayed automobiles was Carl Gallema’s Trike, which won 34 awards since 2021 in seven competitions outside the city. He said collecting decor and equipment to spruce up his trike is not a waste of time and money—it is his passion which gives him a sense of fulfillment in life.
Gallema’s sleek trike is not just for auto shows like this but also, with the number of amplifiers and colorful decorations, it is also to entertain his passengers outside exhibits.
LMNTRX assured the crowd of their possible comeback in the city as the show has been a success and a crowd-inviting event that indeed showed the essence of “matagoan.”
