IBPLS is an integrated version of the previous eBPLS or Electronic Business Licensing System which was developed by the DICT, which allows local government units and the citizens to electronically apply and process business clearance, building permits and occupancy permits, apart from the usual business permit processing.
With the integration of building and occupancy permit, citizens planning to apply will experience hassle-free transactions as the turnaround times are cut down, allowing for a faster and better services compared to the usual manual processing. The system is also credible as it uses a transparent software that utilizes electronic footprints.
Prior to its full blast implementation, the city government will finish the said course and will further do capacitation until its finalized for public consumption.
The training is also currently being attended by endorsing offices such as the City Building and Architecture Office, the City Health Office, DICT-Kalinga, the Bureau of Fire Protection, and the City Treasury Office, among others. By Ruth Cupang
