TABUK CITY, Kalinga – The lifeless body of the city’s No. 8 drug personality was found stocked in the irrigation canal at barangay Appas, here, Tuesday.
Senior Superintendent Victor Wanchakan, officer-in-charge of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office, identified the fatality as Noel Batong-og Bocad a.k.a. “Virgo”, 34, married, farmer, and a resident of Barangay San Pedro, Rizal, Kalinga.
The cadaver was said to be under the state of decomposition and was hogtied with plastic straw and his legs with nylon string, and sustained wound/hole on the right part of his head.
Probers are still conducting a deeper investigation on the real cause of the untimely demise of the said individual who is one of the wanted drug personalities in the city.
