“You need to get the necessary skills not only to use it in our province but to compete in life with the rest of the population in the country and of course outside the Philippines. We all know that Filipinos are everywhere, known for their very good skills. That I want you all to be. You have right now the basic skills for competing the rest of the world in getting good jobs. What I can only say is complete your education. And then give back to the community and train the rest of the youth in the province to be as good as you are. We, Takit and I are always here ready to help for the best we can regarding what we can give you for your education. Because I believe this is our basic need to fight poverty and leave this kind of life we had here in Abra,”Ms. Bersamin stressed.
She also gave some insights for the parents who were present during the program, “Family starts the best education a child can first acquire. Parents, start training your kids to be good citizens. Everything starts at home. Thank you for being here. Showing your support to your children.”
