TABUK CITY, Kalinga– The Tabuk Multipurpose Cooperative (TAMPCO) is the third billionaire cooperative in the region.
TAMPCPO, a large cooperative has an asset of P2,371,371,261.00 for fiscal year 2021, which increased to 17.16% compared to its asset in 2020 which is at P2,024,063,158.00
The cooperative maintains its billionaire status because of good cooperative operations of services and programs, according to Engr. Ryan Jose, program development officer of the City Cooperatives and Enterprise Development Office (CCEDO).
Among the list of billionaire cooperatives with their total assets for year 2021 are the Benguet Electric Cooperative (P4,302,646,855.00) the top one, Benguet State University and Community Multipurpose Cooperative (P2,696,364,599.00) top 2, Baguio-Benguet Community Credit Cooperative (P2,276,189,728.00), Abra Diocesan Teachers and Employees MPC (P2,060,604,619.00), Lagawe Multipurpose Development Cooperative (P1,779,875,880.00), Treasure Link Cooperative Society (P1,410,027,064.00), Lamut Grassroots Savings and Development Cooperative (P1,016,663,607.00) and Bokod Sulphur Spring MPC (P1,016,126,598.00).
