BAGUIO CITY – A 39-year old taxi driver was arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in his possession suspected illegal drugs and assorted drug paraphernalia during a buy bust operation at First Road, Quezon Hill Proper, here, recently.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the arrested drug pusher as Tirso Carbonell Rigos, 39, married, taxi driver and a resident of Upper Fairview, Baguio City.
Confiscated from his possession by the operating troops were one piece of Fortune Tribal Blue Label cigarette pack; one piece of rolled white paper wrapped with black electrical tape containing suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride shabu; one piece of heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride shabu; one genuine One Thousand Peso P1,000.00-bill with serial number 2T285360; and, 23 pieces of boodle money.
The arrested individual and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation awaiting the filing of the appropriate charges against him before the city prosecutor’s office.
