LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – An 18-year old teenager died after he was allegedly mauled by still unidentified suspects for still unknown reasons at Swamp, Puguis, here, Tuesday night.
Chief Inspector Benson Macli-ing, chief of the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station, identified the fatality as Denver Munar Belen, 18, unemployed, and a resident off Western Buyagan, La Trinidad, Benguet.
Initial police investigation showed the victim was brought to the Benguet General Hospital (BeGH) by two females and four males who were on board a taxi after he was seen sprawled bloodied on the ground in the place of incident.
He was reportedly mauled by still unidentified suspects in the place of incident and was left sprawled bloodied on the pavement when seen by the ones who brought him to the hospital.
His attending physicians declared him lifeless after several hours of undergoing medical treatment in the said hospital due to alleged neurologic shock.
