BAGUIO CITY- The first TESLA or the Teachers of ESL Association in Baguio City recently organized and conducted the first TESLA Sports fest in cooperation with the EULS or the English Unlimited Learning Systems International, Manulife, Bright Image, Concordia International College, Granary Barista Academy and the Assesment Center at the Green Valley Hotel and Resort here on September 19, 2015.
The sports fest in the activity gathered both ESL teachers and students in fellowship with the theme: “Sound Body, Sharp Mind, Energized Teaching” through sports activities. The Teacher and student participants in a days’ activity engaged themselves in sporting activities attended by different ESL schools in Baguio City.
The sports fest played in seven sports events have the following winners: Volleyball – Champion- Baguio English Communication Institute/SEA, Basketball – Champion – Talk Academy, Bowling – Champion –Talk Academy, Billards – Champion – HELP, Badminton – Champion – Baguio English Communication Institute/SEA, Chess – Champion – HELP, and Tasble Tennis – Champion HELP.
The sports fest attended by foreign students in the different English Communication Schools in Baguio City was graced by the Provincial Director- TESDA Baguio Benguet, Angela Gabriel who was the guest of honor and speaker, and TESLA Philippines, President, Eli T. Natividad.
