TABUK CITY, Kalinga – A 49-year old businesswoman was injured after she was allegedly shot by a still unidentified gun-wielding suspect at Bulanao here recently.
Police authorities identified the injured individual as Josephine Vargas Javier, 49, married, businesswoman and a resident of Mayangao Street, Dagupan Centro, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
Initial police investigation showed that the victim came from his business establishment and went to the side of the Kalinga Provincial Hospital to wait for her ride to go to her residence when a lone gun-wielding suspect suddenly appeared and shot her.
The victim was brought to the Kalinga Provincial Hospital for medical treatment where she is now in stable condition. While the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation by responding police operatives.
