LUNA, Apayao – The Apayao Training Center (ATC), in partnership with the Technical Skills and Development Authority (TESDA), held a Training Induction Program (TIP) orientation for the trainees of the Electrical Installation (EIM) NC II course today, July 18, 2024, at the ATC Compound.
The course has enrolled 25 trainees from various municipalities of the province which started on July 11, 2024, and will conclude on August 15, 2024.
This scholarship initiative is funded by Congresswoman Eleanor C. Bulut-Begtang through TESDA’s Special Training for Employment Program (STEP). The program provides free training, assessments, training support funds, a daily allowance of PhP160, and starter toolkits.
STEP aims to offer deserving beneficiaries access to free, high-quality technical education and training opportunities.
The TIP orientation helps trainees understand the school system, rules, regulations, scholarship benefits, and their legal rights.
The Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II qualification equips individuals to install and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, and related systems in residential buildings where the voltage does not exceed 600 volts. By Michelle Acantilado
