Two motorcycle riders were hurt when their vehicles collided last October 27, 2018 in Ifugao.
The incident occurred in the evening of October 27, 2018 along the National road of Busilac, Alfonso Lista Ifugao.
The vehicles involved were a northbound black Honda XRM motorcycle driven by Elmer Agacer Rabago, 29 years old, employee of the Alfonso Lista Water system and a resident of Kiling, Alfonso Lista Ifugao and a southbound Red Supremo Honda attached to a sidecar, driven by Reggie Samor Alvarez, married, farmer and a resident of Busilac, Alfonso Lista Ifugao.
Investigation shows that the Honda XRM was traversing the national road towards Sta. Maria, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao on its proper lane when the Honda Supremo, also traversing towards Pinto, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao, suddenly counter flowed to the opposite lane resulting in the collision of both motorcycles.
Both drivers sustained multiple injuries. The damage to their motorcycles was still undetermined as of filing of this report. Upon assessment by the rescue team of MDDRMO, Rabago was brought to Potia District Hospital while Alvarez was given first aid and was brought to the same hospital but was further referred to a hospital in Santiago City, Isabela for treatment due to the seriousness of his injuries.
The case is under investigation.
