TROPICAL CYCLONE: WARNING SUPER TYPHOON “LAWIN” (HAIMA)
ISSUED AT 10:00 PM, 20 October 2016
TYPHOON “LAWIN” IS NOW OUTSIDE THE PHILIPPINE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (PAR).
*Location of eye/center At 9:00 PM today: 390 km West Northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte (OUTSIDE PAR)(19.8°N, 117.3°E).
*Strength :Maximum sustained winds of up to 120 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 150 kph.
*Forecast Movement :Forecast to move North Northwest at 19 kph.*All Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal (TCWS) are now lifted.
*Sea travel is risky over the seaboards of Northern Luzon and the western seaboard of Central Luzon.
***With this development and unless re-entry occurs, this is the final warning for this weather disturbance.

TROPICAL CYCLONE: WARNING SUPER TYPHOON “LAWIN” (HAIMA)
ISSUED AT 5:00 PM, 20 October 2016
*LAWIN IS NOT A THREAT ANYMORE AND IS ABOUT TO EXIT THE PHILIPPINE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (PAR).
*Sea travel is risky over the northern and eastern seaboards of Northern Luzon and western seaboard of Cental Luzon.
*Location of eye/center At 4:00 PM today: 240 km West Northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte (19.2°N, 118.6°E).
*Strength Maximum sustained winds of up to 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph.
*Forecast Movement Forecast to move Northwest at 22 kph.

*LAWIN CONTINUES TO WEAKEN AND IS NOW MOVING AWAY FROM THE COUNTRY.
*Location of eye/center At 10:00 AM today 100 km West Northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte (18.5°N, 119.7°E).
*Strength Maximum sustained winds of up to 150 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 185 kph.
*Forecast Movement:Forecast to move West Northwest at 21 kph.
* Estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within the 700 km diameter of the Typhoon.
* Possible to exit PAR tonight.
* Sea travel is risky over the seaboards of Southern Luzon and the northern and eastern seaboards of Samar.

ISSUED AT 8:00 PM, 19 October 2016
SUPER TYPHOON “LAWIN” HAS MAINTAINED ITS STRENGTH AS IT CONTINUES TO THREATEN CAGAYAN – ISABELA AREA.
*Location of eye/center At 7:00 PM 175 km East Northeast of Casiguran, Aurora or at 200 km East Southeast of Tuguegarao City (17.1°N, 123.5°E).
*Strength Maximum sustained winds of up to 225 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 315 kph.
*Forecast Movement Forecast to move West Northwest at 25 kph.
*Estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within the 800 km diameter of the Super Typhoon.
*It is expected to make landfall over Cagayan – Isabela Area late tonight (11:00 PM) up to tomorrow early morning (Oct. 20), (2:00 AM) then will cross Apayao and Ilocos Norte.
*Possible to exit PAR tomorrow evening (Oct. 20).
*Sea travel is risky over the eastern seaboard of Southern Luzon and the northern and eastern seaboards of Samar.

*Location of eye/center At 4:00 PM today, 275 km East Southeast of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan(16.9°N, 124.2°E).
*Strength Maximum sustained winds of up to 225 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 315 kph.
*Forecast Movement Forecast to move West Northwest at 25 kph.
*SUPER TYPHOON “LAWIN” CONTINUES TO POSE A SERIOUS THREAT OVER CAGAYAN – ISABELA AREA.
*Estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within the 800 km diameter of the Super Typhoon.
*It is expected to make landfall over Cagayan – Isabela Area late tonight (11:00 PM) up to tomorrow early morning (Oct. 20), (2:00 AM) then will cross Apayao and Ilocos Norte.
*Possible to exit PAR tomorrow evening (Oct. 20) or on Friday early morning (Oct. 21).

*Location of eye/center At 1:00 PM today,  300 km East of Casiguran, Aurora (16.5°N, 124.9°E).
*Strength Maximum sustained winds of up to 225 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 315 kph.
*Forecast Movement Forecast to move West Northwest at 24 kph.
*”LAWIN” INTENSIFIED INTO A SUPER TYPHOON AND MAINTAINS ITS SERIOUS THREAT AS IT MOVES CLOSER TO CAGAYAN – ISABELA AREA.
*Estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within the 800 km diameter of the Super Typhoon.
*It is expected to make landfall over Cagayan – Isabela Area late tonight up to tomorrow early morning (Oct. 20) then will cross Apayao and Ilocos Norte.
*Possible to exit PAR tomorrow evening (Oct. 20) or on Friday early morning (Oct. 21).

*Strength Maximum sustained winds of up to 220 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 305 kph.
*Forecast Movement Forecast to move West Northwest at 26 kph.
*”LAWIN” further intensifies and continues to pose an impending threat over Cagayan-Isabela area.
*Estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within the 700 km diameter of the Typhoon.
*It is expected to intensify further before making landfall.
*It is expected to make landfall over Cagayan-Isabela Area late tonight (11:00 PM) up to tomorrow early morning(Oct. 20), (2:00 AM) then will cross Apayao and Ilocos Norte.

*”LAWIN” gains more strength and continues to threaten Northern Luzon.
*Location of Eye/Center: (as of 7:00 a.m.) 450 km East of Casiguran, Aurora Coordinates: 16.1°N, 126.3°E
*Strength: Maximum sustained winds of up to 210 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 260 kph
*Movement: Forecast to move West Northwest at 26 kph
*Estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within the 700 km diameter of the Typhoon.
*It is expected to intensify further before making landfall.
*It is expected to make landfall over Cagayan Area by Thursday early morning (Oct. 20) then will cross Apayao and Ilocos Norte.
*Possible to exit PAR on Friday early morning(Oct. 21) or tomorrow evening (Oct. 20).
*Sea travel is risky over the eastern seaboard of Southern Luzon and the northern and eastern seaboards of Samar.

* It is expected to make landfall over Cagayan Area by tomorrow early morning (Oct. 20) then will cross Apayao and   Ilocos Norte.
* Possible to exit PAR on Friday early morning(Oct. 21) or tomorrow evening (Oct. 20).
