TABUK CITY, Kalinga – Tabuk City’s logistical assets get boosted with the donation of a refurbished 45-seater bus from Victory Liner, Inc., upon the request of Mayor Darwin C. Estrañero.
Rafael De Jesus, Field Operations Officer of Victory Liner, formally turned over the air conditioned Hyundai Universe Space Luxury bus to City Administrator Arnold Tenedero on November 5.
De Jesus said that the donation aims to assist the city in its various programs as Victory Liner recognizes the increasing need for a convenient and dependable shuttle service in a growing organization like the city government.
Technicians from the company also briefed the city’s drivers in the operations and controls of the said bus while committing to assist with its repair and maintenance.
City Administrator Arnold Tenedero, on behalf of Mayor Darwin C. Estrañero, thanked Victory Liner for the donation which he said will help provide for the shuttle service for city government employees.
“Ito ay makakatulong sa amin lalo na sa mga employees, kasi ang intention ni mayor dito ay para maka provide kami ng shuttle service sa mga employees namin,” he said. By Tabuk PIO
