City officials recently commended and congratulated Hussein Perez Loran֮a for winning the gold medal in the 800-meter run in Hong Kong last May 4, 2024.
In a resolution, city legislators stated that Loran֮a serves as an inspiration for aspiring athletes and individuals striving for excellence in their respective endeavors in the field of athletics or in any other sport or profession.
Earlier, Loran֮a displayed exceptional dedication, perseverance and athletic prowess in the realm of competitive running.
His commitment to excellence and tireless training regimen has culminated in a momentous victory earning the gold medal in the 800-meter run with a time of 1 minute, 52 seconds and 12 milliseconds.
The 19-year old boy earned the gold medal in the Hong Kong Open Athletics held at Hong Kong last May 4, 2024.
The council stipulated that his achievement not only showcased personal excellence but also brought honor and pride to the city.
