TABUK CITY, Kalinga– The City Health Services Office (CHSO) named the winners of the ‘Biggest Loser Contest’, a weight reduction program, that was participated by the employees of the city government as part of the Nutrition Month activities in July.
James Mina of the CHSO won the men’s category after a two-month Zumba weight loss program, losing 9.8 kg 11.37 percent of his body weight), while Rochelle Gayagay of the City Internal Audit Services Office took first place in the women’s division after losing 10.8 kg 12.43 percent of her body weight).Both of them received a cash incentive of P 15,000 each.
With prizes of P 10,000 and P 5,000, Jandel Taguiam of the CHSO and Eisenhower Bucalen of the City Public Information Office came in second and third place in the men’s category, respectively. Lorrain Salibad of the City Social Welfare and Development Office and Charity Puday of the CHSO came in second and third place in the women’s category and also received the same incentives as mentioned above.
The Tabuk City Non-Communicable Disease Control and Prevention Program and City Nutrition Program of the CHSO were in charge of the weight loss program, which ran from July 4 through September 2, 2022.
