BAGUIO CITY – A 42-year old woman was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence operatives based on warrants for 7 counts of estafa in her temporary residence at Napo Lodge, Kayang-Hilltop here Sunday morning
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, officer-in-charge of the Baguio City Police Office, identified the arrested wanted individual as Elvira Ferrer Dela Cruz, 42, single and vendor, and a resident of Napo Lodge, Hilltop Rd. Baguio City.
She was arrested by virtue of two warrants issued by Judge Asuncion Fekingas Mandia of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 29 in San Fernando City, La Union for two counts of estafa with a total recommended bail of P80,000 for her temporary liberty; two warrants issued by Judge victor O. Concepcion of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 66 in San Fernando City, La Union for two counts of estafa with a recommended bail of P80,000; a warrant issued by Judge Carlito E. Corpuz of the RTC Branch 27 in San Fernando City, La Union with a recommended bail of P28,000 and two warrants issued by Judge Imelda P. Cosalan of the Municipal Trial Court in cities (MTCC) Branch 1 in San Fernando City, La Union for falsification of public documents and other deceits through falsification of public documents with a total recommended bail of P24,000.
She was brought to the BCPO headquarters prior to her turnover to the issuing courts for the proper disposition of the cases filed against her.
