VILLAVICIOSA, Abra July 22 – An 85-year old woman died after she slipped in a wet floor inside her residence at barangay Lumaba, here, Sunday.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Paulina L. Severo, 85 years old, married and resident of barangay Lumaba, Villaviciosa, Abra.
Initial police investigation showed that the grandchildren of the victim allegedly discovered her lifeless body inside her room wherein probers theorized that she could have slipped on the wet floor and banged her head and body on the pavement that caused her instantaneous death.
The body of the victim was brought to a local funeral parlor for the conduct of the appropriate autopsy and for her to be given the necessary wake and burial.
