KIANGAN, Ifugao May 14 – A 23-year old woman was injured after he was stabbed by an alleged drunk knife-wielding woman inside their boarding house at Mabbalat, Poblacion, here, Friday.
Police authorities identified the victim as Felimar Orland Dulawan, 23 years old, married, housewife and resident of Sitio Bayninan, Nagacadan, Kiangan, Ifugao while the suspect was named as a certain Maurine Dulawan, a resident of same barangay. Initial police investigation showed that the victim and her husband were inside their boarding house when the suspect allegedly barged inside their room, grabbed a knife on the table and attempted to stab her husband.
However, the victim tried to pacify the suspect but the latter swung the knife that hit her on her neck causing multiple lacerations on her body.
The victim was rushed to the Panudpudan District Hospital for medical treatment while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation by responding police operatives of the Kiangan Municipal Police Station.
