BAGUIO CITY – A 49-year old woman was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for estafa inside a restaurant along Abanao St. here Sunday afternoon.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, officer-in-charge of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the arrested individual as Marissa Lamsis Guinyawan, 49, married, unemployed and a resident of Km. 4, Pico, La Trinidad, Benguet.
She was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Manoa Liza Teongson Tabora of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 7 with a recommended bail of P80,000 for her temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was subsequently brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation prior to her turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposition of the case filed against her.
