BAGUIO CITY — The 2025 Women’s Month Opening or Kapihan was recently kickstarted with a set of month-long activities encouraging women empowerment, acknowledgment, and advocacies at the DSWD-CAR Training Center.
With the theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas Para sa Bagong Pilipinas,” this year’s celebration of women is centered around their objectives to make an impact from women and women-advocates to every woman of all sectors.
The Cordillera Regional Gender and Development Committee (RGADC-CAR) has already set out the calendar of activities in line with their objectives and theme, such as the upcoming event to be expected on March 20 called “Children’s Educational Guided Tour on Livestock and Animal Husbandry”.
There is also the #PurpleWednesdays encourages everyone to wear the color purple every Wednesday all throughout March to show their solidarity with the objectives of the RGADC and Philippine Commission on Women.
