BAGUIO CITY – The YMCA of Baguio City, Inc. recently launched its summer sports training program dubbed “Summer Frolics 2018” for allied and combative sports, providing an avenue where children can hone their skills in sports training and recreation.
Training sessions will be in two batches from April 10, 2018 to May 12, 2018 for the first batch and from June 4, 2018 to July 7, 2018 for the second batch. Featured sports trainings will be for allied sports, and combative sports with the following schedules;
Badminton -12:30-2:00 pm. (MWF), Basketball – 2:00 – 4:00 pm. (TTHS), Taekwondo – 10:30 – 12:00nn. (MWF), Judo – 2:00 – 4:00 pm. (MWF), Karate Do- Japan Karate Association (JKA) – 9:00 – 10:30 am. (TTHS), Shin-shin Karate Do (SSKI) – 9:00 – 10:00 am. (MWF), Sphinx Karate Do – 10:30 – 12:00 nn. (TTHS).
The sports training program will cater to children 6-16 years of age to train and learn the fundamentals of allied and combative sports as a wholesome endeavour this summer months. Registration for this year’s Summer Frolics is now open to interested parties at your local YMCA.
Meanwhile, the YMCA Pre-School aimed in training toddlers will be conducting its annual Summer Reading Program for pre-schoolers aged 4-6 years old on May 28, 2018 – June 29, 2018. Registration for the month long reading program is now open.
