The ongoing annual YMCA Summer Frolics activities that offered various sports activities and reading readiness program aimed to provide basic training in the fundamentals of various sports programs and reading readiness for children 4-6 years of age entering preschool, had a thumbs up from parents seeking activities for their children this summer.
The YMCA Summer Frolics program which commenced last April 6, 2015 for the first batch of trainees gathered as much as 200 children in the different sports training activities offered; like Karate, Judo, Arnis de Mano, Tae Kwondo, Basketball and Badminton and the reading readiness program designed to help children develop early reading, speaking, listening and writing skills.
In connection with the different enrolment dates of public and private schools in Baguio City and Benguet areas, the YMCA of the City of Baguio, Inc. will be accepting enrolees for the second batch of trainees which will commence on June 1 – 30, 2015 with the following schedules;

Pre School Reading Readiness:
- Mondays to Fridays 9:00 – 10:30 am.
Meanwhile, enrolment for the summer activities is open to all interested from 8:00 – 5:00 pm. Monday to Saturday at the YMCA Office.
