LUNA, Apayao – Board member Kyle Mariah Chelsea Bulut-Cunan on September 2, delivered a powerful message commending civil servants for their work and services.
“The true essence of public service lies in our commitment to serve the people with integrity, transparency, and accountability. You are the true heroes, you made Apayao a better place for every one of us to live,’’ underscored Bulut-Cunan during her speech in the kick off of the month-long observance of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary in the province.
Bulut-Cunan likewise reminded all civil servants from various offices the importance of public service, articulating the joy of serving the people as this brings forth a good legacy for the next generation of future leaders.
The legislator, nevertheless, pointed out challenges where sometimes there is a dilemma between work and family. Re-echoing said importance, she imparted the necessity of having a balanced time between family and work.
“I have noticed during the ‘panunumpa ng mga Kawani ng gobyerno’ that I will work above the required time, but as for me, honestly, in life we should find a balance between work and family. No matter how busy we are, spend time for your families and partners,’’ she said in Filipino.
