BAGUIO CITY – An 18-year old teenager was hurt after he was repeatedly stabbed by a lone assailant within the vicinity of his brother’s boarding house at Cresencia Village here recently.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, acting city director of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the victim as Luisito Bustarde Mislang, 18, single and a resident of City Camp Central, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and his niece went to his brother’s boarding house in the said place when he noticed that the door was slightly opened.
When he tried to peep, the knife-wielding suspect reportedly punched him on the face causing him to fall on the ground but he was able to immediately stand up and engaged the suspect to a fistfight.
However, the suspect stabbed the victim several times on the different parts of his body before fleeing towards an undisclosed direction.
The victim was immediately rushed by concerned citizens to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment while the suspect is now the subject of a manhunt operation by police operatives.
