TABUK CITY, Kalinga – The Tabuk People’s Gym came alive tonight, June 17 with electrifying performances as various youth groups took center stage in the much-anticipated Youth-led Battle of the Bands, drawing a crowd of enthusiastic friends, family, and music lovers.
The musical showdown was spearheaded by the City Special Concern and Coordinating Office in collaboration with the Sangguniang Kabataan. The event featured original compositions by talented local youth, showcasing a diverse range of sounds, rhythms, and heartfelt lyrics.
City Mayor Darwin Estrañero, represented by City Information Officer Aurora Amilig, commended the participants for their creativity and musical prowess. In her message, Amilig highlighted the importance of nurturing local talent and providing platforms for young artists to express themselves.
The panel of judges was composed of respected personalities in the local music scene, all of whom shared a deep passion and professional experience in music, ensuring a fair and inspiring competition.
