TABUK CITY, Kalinga – A two-day Youth Development Session cum Drug Symposium was successfully held at Gawidan Elementary School, Bagumbayan, this city, aimed at educating and empowering young individuals on critical life issues.
The event covered a wide range of topics relevant to the holistic development of the youth. Sessions included discussions on self-awareness, setting expectations, and understanding the challenges young people face today. A major highlight was the Drug Awareness Symposium, which provided valuable information about the dangers of drug use and the importance of making informed decisions.
Participants also learned about the situation of children in conflict with the law, promoting awareness of legal consequences and the importance of staying on the right path. Other lectures focused on adolescent health, specifically the physical and emotional changes during puberty, as well as mental health and emotional resilience.
