City officials recently reiterated Resolution No. 586, series of 1993 approving the recommendation of the Committee on Public Protection and Safety contained in its 3rd indorsement dated October 25, 1993 as amended, on the request of the Pacdal-Gen. Luna Jeepney Operators and Drivers Association (PAGODA) dated August 12, 1993, September 16, 1993 and September 29, 1993, respectively, subject to the condition that it will not obstruct the traffic flow in the area.
Under Resolution No. 358, series of 2024, during the earlier deliberation, the council agreed to reiterate the aforesaid Committee Report as contained in the resolution, subject to the condition that it will not obstruct the traffic flow in the area.
Earlier, the council considered an advance notice to avail of the citizen’s forum during the May 27, 2024 regular session submitted by Melchor T. Bengao et al; all of the PAGODA Transport service Cooperative requesting to park three to five jeepney units near the entrance of St. Joseph Church, Pacdal circle.
