LA TRINIDAD – Twenty six drug personalities were successively arrested while over P64 million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated and destroyed by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents during the implementation of a month-long aggressive anti-illegal drug operations in the Cordillera in June.
Police authorities said that these operations included 51 marijuana eradication efforts, nine buy-bust operations, eight search warrant implementations, four warrants of arrest services, five police responses, and one checkpoint.
These efforts led to the confiscation of 82.74 grams of shabu, 248,690 fully grown marijuana plants, 9,150 marijuana seedlings, two marijuana seeds, 35,349.72 grams of dried marijuana leaves and fruiting tops, 77,105.54 grams of dried marijuana stalks, and 345 ml of marijuana oil, totaling P64,237,748.01 in value. Additionally, 26 drug personalities were arrested, with 14 identified as High Value Individuals and 12 as Street Level Individuals.
