TABUK CITY, Kalinga – As part of the celebration of this year’s Matagoan Festival to encourage and develop the creativity and artistic talents among the youth, the first youth-led painting contest was hosted by the City Special Concerns and Coordinating Office (CSCCO).
Anchored on the theme “Journey to the City of Life”, young artists, 15-30 years old displayed their skills and creativity in the event held on June 20.

Participants also utilized various mediums including acrylics, watercolors and mixed media, and the artists were allowed to choose between landscape or portrait orientation based on their artistic vision.
