BAGUIO CITY – In elections held last January 12, 2017, at the Crown Legacy Hotel, the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders Association Inc. or CREBA Baguio Benguet Chapter elected its officers for the year 2017.
Feliza Ronquillo was elected as chairperson while Engr. Tom Panis was re-elected as President. Both officers have been longtime stalwarts of CREBA and they look forward to continuing the gains achieved by the previous set of officers. Chairperson Ronquillo emphasized the need to increase more participation from other developers and builders operating in the City. President Panis stated that the past year was significant because the Baguio Chapter successfully hosted the 2016 CREBA National Convention. He said further that there is plenty of optimism for the year 2017. The chapter likewise thanked the 2016 officers headed by outgoing chairperson Jane Cosalan.
Joining the new set of officers are Edwin Zamora – VP Internal, Ulysses Gaerlan – VP External, Lucy Tello – Secretary, Avelino Cayat Jr. – Treasurer, Rey Gundran – Auditor. Rose Ann Tabora, Ramon Tagle, Mark Soriano, and Lennon Tiago were likewise elected as directors. The election process was facilitated by Atty. Fred Bagbagen and Atty. Christian Ulpindo.
The new set of officers looks forward to 2017 guided by the 5-point agenda of CREBA. The 5-point agenda is a package of inter-related policy and legislative reform proposals in pursuit of CREBA’s relentless advocacy in ensuring that every Filipino is able to live a full and happy life in a home he or she can call his or her own.
