CALANASAN, Apayao – Some one hundred elders and community members from Barangays Tanglagan and Naguilian recently benefited from the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of the Pan Pacific Renewable Power Phils. Corp. (PPRPPC) during the simple gift-giving rites held at the local gymnasium of Barangay Tanglagan, Municipality of Calanasan, Province of Apayao.
The said activity was initiated by the company in close coordination with the Calanasan Municipal Government, the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Calanasan Service Center and the company’s host communities.
Mayor Shamir Bulut and Vice Mayor Martin Lawat of the Municipality of Calanasan, Brgy. Captain Misael Gumpeng of Bry. Tanglagan, and Brgy. Captain Vedasto Danggan of Brgy. Naguilian attended the said occasion that was also graced by PPRPPC representatives and NCIP Calanasan Service Center.
PPRPPC is committed to extend whatever appropriate assistance to its host and neighboring communities through various CSR programs in relation to its 30MW Calanasan 1 Run-of-River Hydroelectric power projects in the Municipality of Calanasan.
