FLORA, Apayao – Professionals and other residents in Flora, Apayao received accessible services from the Professional Regulation Commission–Cordillera (PRC CAR) through a Mobile Outreach Program this October 9, 2023.
The outreach program aims to go to remote areas and serve those who have difficulties in traveling to Baguio or other cities where the main offices of PRC are.
With the help of the municipal government, the services of PRC were made available to the people in this town. The services given included renewal of professional ID cards, initial registration for examination passers, application for examinations, issuance and authentication of Certificates of Passing, Ratings, and Good Standing, orientation on the Continuing Professional Development Law, initial registration for licensure examination passers, certifications and authentication of PRC documents, petitions for Change of Name and Correction of Entries, release of available certificates of registration, and assistance with LERIS concerns.
Over 276 individuals were able to transact with the PRC-CAR and were grateful that such an activity was conducted by the commission.
Mayor Rodolfo Juan, meantime, said this program of the PRC-CAR is a demonstration of the help of the government and the desire of the PRC-CAR to serve the underserved.
The Mayor likewise expressed his thanks to the organizers and those who came to provide the services. The PRC-CAR for their part said they remain committed to their mission of bringing essential services closer to the community, thereby saving time, resources, transportation, and other associated costs for their clients.
