Benguet State University (BSU) landed in the top 100 universities in the Philippines according to the latest rankings released by EduRank.
Based on the website of EduRank with a February 29, 2024 update, BSU ranked 41st in the country. Joining BSU from the Cordillera Region are the University of the Philippines – Baguio, at 28th spot, and Saint Louis University (SLU) Baguio City at 83rd.
EduRank ranked the universities based on research outputs, non-academic prominence, and alumni influence, according to the website. The rankings draw upon analyzing 500,000 citations received by 58,800 academic publications across 229 universities in the Philippines.
Additionally, the popularity of 1,093 recognized alumni and the largest reference database available contribute to the assessment, it added.
Leading the ranking is the University of the Philippines Diliman, followed by De La Salle University and Ateneo de Manila University. By SAP Jr.
