LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – Nineteen year-old lass named Annie Uson from Labrador town is this year’s Limgas na Pangasinan ‘Darling of the Press.’
Uson, an Architecture student of St. Louis University in Baguio City, conversed eloquently with poise, wit and confidence making her the choice from among the 25 official candidates who are vying for the province’s most prestigious beauty pageant as they were officially presented to the media on March 6 at the Pangasinan Training and Development Center (PTDC).
Earlier, the 25 candidates meet and greet Governor Amado I. Espino III at the Urduja House and after which graced the regular session of the provincial board for a photo opportunity with the members of the board headed by Vice Governor Jose Ferdinand Z. Calimlim, Jr.
This year’s official candidates are as follows: Jessica Estihore (Natividad), Charmaine Joyce Nava (Aguilar), Nymmosyne Bautista (San Carlos City), Monica Fortunato (Umingan), Marikit Manaois (Binmaley), Jane Flodine (Mangaldan), Apple Joy Bacay (Alaminos City), Kazumi Noguchi (Infanta), Shienna Dianne Baldiviano (Binalonan), Encar Nyssa Quitoriano (Dagupan City), Karen Eje (Manaoag), Cindy Pilar (Mangatarem), Jannah Bernas (Sual), Ivy Lou Borbon (Sta. Barbara), Princess C. Villanueva (San Fabian), Loise Ann Calimlim (Bayambang), Anie Uson (Labrador), Vanessa Baraquio (Basista), Angelica Garcia (Bayambang), Nicole Kate Valencerina (Bugallon), Shane Sison (Sta. Barbara), Trixie Amyr Gavina (Pozorrubio), Bea Theresa Maynigo (Calasiao), Miezhl Jeanneli Ramos (Urdaneta City), and Gell Vinluan (Binmaley).
Prior to the grand pageant and coronation night of the 2017 Limgas na Pangasinan to be held on April 30 at the Capitol Plaza, the 25 equally lovely and intelligent ladies will outshine each other via Talent Night on April 21 at the Sison Auditorium.
