TABUK CITY, Kalinga – On January 27, 2022, members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod convened for their first regular session of the year to enact, approve, and refer resolutions, memoranda, and letters.
Several agenda items were reviewed, including a letter asking the authority to re-align funds from the city mayor’s office for the construction of various infrastructure projects in several Barangays, which was facilitated by acting Vice Mayor Zorayda Mia Wacnang.
Included in the agenda are several resolutions to be operative. First is Resolution No. 221-182, Declaring as operative City Ordinance No. 007, Series of 2021 which is “An Ordinance Approving, Ratifying and Defining the Rights, Obligations and Responsibilities of the City Government of Tabuk as Embodied in the Omnibus Term Loan Agreement, Deed of Assignment and Other Integral Documents Related Thereto Signed and Executed Between the City of Tabuk and the DBP for the Approved Loan in the Amount Not to Exceed One Billion Nine Hundred Twenty Five Million Pesos to Finance Various Development Programs and Projects”.
Another is Resolution No. 2021 – 157, also declaring operative City Ordinance No. 008, or “An Ordinance Amending Article VI, Section 7. Special Financial Assistance and Benefits Provision of the Tabuk City Barangay Health Workers and Barangay Nutrition Scholars Assistance, Benefits, and Incentive Code of 2020 by Granting Additional Service Incentive and Appropriating and Appropriating Funds Therefor”.
The third is Resolution No. 2021 – 168, declaring as operative City Ordinance No. 010, otherwise known as “An Ordinance Converting and Renaming the Southern Tabuk Central School into Southern Tabuk Integrated School.”
And lastly, Resolution No. 2021 – 174, that declares as operative City Ordinance No. 011, or “An Ordinance Lifting the Moratorium Imposed under Section 9 of Ordinance No. 005, Series of 202 and Amending Section 3 and Annex – A of the 2020 Strategic Organizational Structure and Staffing Pattern of the City Government of Tabuk, Thereof by Changing, Creating, and Reclassifying/Modifying Position in the City Government of Tabuk.”
