BAGUIO CITY – Two waiters of a establishment were injured after they were allegedly mauled by two individuals who were under the influence of liquor inside a restaurant at Camdas Subdivision, here, recently.
Senior Superintendent Ramil L. Saculles, City Director of the Baguio Cit Police Office (BCPO), identified the victims as Romar Ignalig Marquez, 23, and Haiji Ren Maramba Malvar, 19, while he named the suspects as Jurdem Tamale Dusalen, 21, and Ronald Roldan Peralta, 18, all residents of Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the victims were attending to their customers when the suspects suddenly entered the restaurant and became unruly then allegedly started mauling the victims until cooler heads prevailed on them.
The victims were immediately rushed by concerned bystanders to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment while the suspects were arrested by responding police operatives.
The suspects were subsequently detained at the Baguio City Jail awaiting the filing of the appropriate charges against them before the city prosecutor’s office.
