LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Some nineteen wanted individuals were successfully arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents during separate anti-criminal operations that were conducted in the different parts of the region over the past week.
Police authorities stated that the Baguio City Police Office (CPO) and the Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) recorded the highest number of arrests, with seven arrests each, followed by the Ifugao PPO with five arrests.
Among the arrested wanted personalities, three are listed as Most Wanted Persons, of these two are listed in the Provincial Level and one in the City Level.
Meanwhile, as a result of the intensified police presence, 53 municipalities in the different provinces of the region and four police stations in Baguio City remain peaceful, as PRO Cordillera recorded zero crime incidents in these areas during the same week.
Zero crime incidents were recorded in 22 municipalities in Abra, eight municipalities each in Benguet and Mountain Province, seven municipalities in Ifugao, five municipalities in Apayao, and three municipalities in Kalinga.
Further, in Baguio City, Naguilian Police Station (PS1), Loakan Police Station (PS4), Legarda Police Station (PS5), and Abanao Police Station (PS7) also recorded zero crime incidents out of the 10 police stations in the city.
