LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – More than three hundred services will be offered by some 50 government agencies and government-owned and controlled corporations will be readily available for the residents of the province and neighboring communities during the conduct of the two-day Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo caravan that will be held at the compound of the State-run Benguet State University (BSU) on April 21-22, 2024.
Thousands of residents from the province’s thirteen towns and other nearby communities are expected to flock to the BSU compound to avail of the offered government services to address their personal and economic needs.
The conduct of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo caravan in the province was through the initiative of Rep. Eric Yap in partnership with the Office of the President, the concerned government agencies and government-owned and controlled corporations and the provincial government headed by Gov. Melchor Diclas.
Individuals interested to avail of the government services are requested to register online in the bagongpilipinastayo.com and for them to show their electronic identification in the registration areas before proceeding to the target agencies or services that they want to avail of.
However, people can still register onsite in the registration area as walk-ins are very much welcome by the organizers.
For the first time in the history of the Philippine Service fair, the event will be joined by private companies, particularly the NLEX Corporation and the San Miguel Corporation, for the installation of the radio frequency identification (RFID) for Easy Trip and Auto Swift for motor vehicles that are yet to be installed such RFIDs to ensure their smooth travel along the various tollways leading to and from their desired places of destination.
Motorists will be provided the necessary RFIDs for free after paying the minimum load of P500 per sticker, thus, travelers, truckers among others should grab the rare opportunity because the said services will be readily available in the province during the two-day Serbisyo fair.
Aside from the free government services and those offered by the participating private companies, the public will also be entertained by Bamboo, including the famous band Rocksteddy and Darren Espanto. Joining the free concert on April 21, 2024 right at the BSU open field is the ILT band and Cordillera’s nightingale Ingrid Payaket. Wacky Kiray will be hosting the said show that will run for several hours for the entertainment of the public and the participating agencies.
Attractive raffle items will be readily available for those who will be availing of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo fair and who will be watching the free concert. Motorcycles and other items will be raffled during the said concert.
